Models
Namespace: RA.Utilities.Dispatcher.Models
The RA.Utilities.Dispatcher.Models namespace defines delegates and the typed context carrier that are fundamental to the pipeline architecture.
✨ Types in this namespace
1. PipelineContext<T>
A strongly-typed data carrier that flows through the entire dispatcher pipeline. Behaviors and handlers read/write properties on the user-defined T — no dictionaries, no magic strings.
See: PipelineContext<T>
2. Context-Aware Delegates
| Delegate | Purpose |
|---|---|
RequestHandlerContextDelegate<TContext> | Context-aware request (no response) |
RequestHandlerContextDelegate<TResponse, TContext> | Context-aware request with response |
NotificationHandlerContextDelegate<TContext> | Context-aware notification |
These are used by the context-aware overloads on IPipelineBehavior and INotificationBehavior.
3. NotificationHandlerDelegate
Delegate for notifying the next handler in the notification pipeline. Used by INotificationBehavior.
See: NotificationHandlerDelegate
4. RequestHandlerDelegate and RequestHandlerDelegate<TResponse>
Delegates for invoking the next step in the request pipeline. Used by IPipelineBehavior.
RequestHandlerDelegate
The RequestHandlerDelegate delegates are what IPipelineBehavior receives as its next parameter — invoking them runs the next stage of the request pipeline.
PipelineContext
PipelineContext is a strongly-typed data carrier that flows through the entire dispatcher pipeline. Each call to IDispatcher.Send or IDispatcher.Publish receives its own isolated instance. Behaviors and handlers read and write properties on the user-defined context type — no dictionaries, no magic strings, no boxing.
NotificationHandlerDelegate
The NotificationHandlerDelegate delegates are what INotificationBehavior receives as its next parameter — invoking them runs the next stage of a single handler's notification pipeline.
