Exceptions
Namespace: RA.Utilities.Dispatcher.Exceptions
The RA.Utilities.Dispatcher.Exceptions namespace contains the exception types specific to dispatcher dispatch. Expected failures from your handlers and pipeline behaviors should be returned as failed results — Result.Failure(...) with a typed exception from RA.Utilities.Core.Exceptions (NotFoundException, ConflictException, BadRequestException, ...) so callers can map them consistently — the exceptions in this namespace are reserved for the dispatcher's own dispatch failures.
The primary type is:
HandlerNotFoundException: Thrown when an object-basedSend/Publishcannot be dispatched because the message's runtime type has no (or an ambiguous) handler contract.
HandlerNotFoundException
HandlerNotFoundException is thrown when an object-based Send or Publish call cannot be dispatched because the runtime type of the message is unknown to the generated mediator's dispatch — the type implements no message contract the mediator knows.
